These widgets are to be used with the Serial Smart Board (SB-5) . Upon making your Serial Widget, your modules’s associated channel will automatically be set to a Serial Channel.
By clicking on your module under the Module tab, it is possible to edit information about the serial channel. This includes:

Send Serial Message (Fixed Message)
Widgets → Create Widget → Send Serial Message (Fixed Message)
This widget allows you to create a web button, which allows you to send a predetermined serial message.
Send Serial Message (Variable Message)
Widgets → Create Widget → Send Serial Message (Variable Message)
Creates a widget in the form of a text box. When the send button is pressed, the text in the box is sent as a serial message.
Monitor Serial Messages (Real-Time)
Widgets → Create Widget → Send Serial Message (Real-Time)
Monitors a serial smart board in real-time.
