I have little (or no) experience of html and would really appreciate some help.

I’m playing with the Beecon app on iPhone and one of the options on approaching or leaving an iBeacon is to “Send a POST or GET command to a URL or server”.

Is there any way I can use that to trigger an output on my IOBridge?

This would be really useful for having devices activate on approach, such a my pond waterfall pump, garage light, turn/off the TV as I enter a room just by having my phone in my pocket.

Any views on the feasibility of this would be great.

The beecon app details can be found here:

    Many thanks.

Cool… just created a widget of your choice and then use the ioBridge Static Widget API to turn the widget into a URL that you can send a POST or GET to.

    Thank you, Hans.

That’s made my holiday. Works a treat.
